Weekend Mischief (ABN 66 869 491 701) is an Australian business. Contact: hello@weekendmischief.com. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003.
What we collect
- Your email address (required).
- Your postcode (required). We turn it into the approximate centre of that postcode area, never a street address, to pick things near you.
- Your first name (optional).
- How many grown-ups and kids are in your household.
- Your kids’ birth month and year (optional). We never ask for children’s names, full birthdates or photos.
- When and where you signed up and confirmed, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, to prove consent and spot abuse. We can’t turn the hash back into an IP address.
- If you join through a friend’s link, which friend referred you.
Why
To send you the Weekend Mischief email you asked for, match picks to your area and your kids’ ages, run the referral program, and keep the service safe. We don’t sell your data.
Your choices
- We only email you after you confirm your address (double opt-in).
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at hello@weekendmischief.com. After you unsubscribe we remove your data after a short grace period, keeping only a scrambled record of your address so we don’t email you again by mistake.
Who handles it for us
We use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email delivery) to run the service, and Sentry (error monitoring, hosted in the EU) to find and fix bugs. We strip emails, postcodes and kids’ details from error reports before they are sent. These providers process data on our behalf, some of it outside Australia.
Cookies
If you arrive through a friend’s share link we set one cookie for 30 days to remember who referred you. We don’t use advertising cookies.
AI disclosure
Weekend Mischief is an AI-assisted guide. We check details before we send, but times, prices and bookings change. Please confirm with the venue or organiser before you head out.
